Not Study Skills

This is not a traditional study skills program.  This is a learning program. Students start school at 4/5 years of age, secondary school at 12 years of age and then college at 18 years of age. They are thought what to learn but not how to learn. Imagine a carpenter given a supply of timber and a box of tools but received no training what so ever, he would not produce anything of value. All children are born with a similar brain. Some children pick up good learning skills from parents or siblings or class mates at an unconscious level, however some children don’t. As with the carpenter if learning skills are explained, practiced and honed students will produce better results.

Traditional Study skills programs give you learning strategies eg. spider diagrams, highlighting etc., but don’t give you a way of learning.
